Samples of Work
Since I will have my online portfolio up and running soon…
I will leave this little tidbit as a teaser for when my portfolio is ready for viewing.
Welcome!
Site Updates- Site Update: Website Loading Issues March 6, 2010After installing Google Analytics to my website and blog site… I started noticing some strange layout loading problems on my sites. Namely, these problems specifically involve my entire site loading approximately 25 to 50px vertically lower than it should. The topbar main navigation should be hugging the top, right? And before I installed Google Analytics […]EMG
- Site Update: Server Switcheroo! July 16, 2009So… whoa. If anyone has visited my site in the last week, you might have noticed that it was sporadically offline or was giving error messages. Sorry about that! Due to situations beyond mine or my web host’s control, I am being switched to a new server (my old one was… well… too old?) and where I believe [...] […]EMG
- Site Update: RSS Feed Content Going Wonky July 5, 2009WTF, My RSS feed blocks (which happen to feed in content – update posts in particular – from each of my respective posting categories) are apparently all messed up. In particular, my RSS feed block for my blog updates is messed up. Instead of showing three posts from my Blog Updates category, it’s showing the last three [...] […]EMG

- Blog Update: Giving Props! March 8, 2010The Giving Props sidebar widget block finally has content! Took me long enough, huh? It’s still not 100% done, but it’s close! Have a look! ~ EMG Afterthought: Maybe I should clone that Giving Props block and import a copy to the main site here… […]EMG

- Blog Update: AddThis Angst July 19, 2009So uhmmm… whooops? The newer version of the WordPress-specific AddThis coding (the one you can manually add to your posts that uses the php echo?) does NOT validate through W3C. It WORKS, but because of the ampersand and perhaps something else, W3C is going bonkers over it, offering up anywhere between 5 to 9 errors [...] […]EMG

- Project Update: In the Works July 4, 2009Hey there, Though the Projects section of the website is not up yet (and probably won’t be up for a little while), I thought I’d let you all know that despite not having any of the content up, I do have projects in the works. Once I get the main portion of the website along with the [...] […]EMG

- Portfolio Update: Works In Progress July 4, 2009Hi again, This update is to let everyone know that once the blog is re-themed and restructured, work will begin on the Portfolio section of the website. I have a lot of additional material to add to my portfolio from the last time I posted it anywhere, so it’s going to be interesting to see how much [...] […]EMG

- Store Update: Store Not Yet Open July 4, 2009Hey there yet again! This is the last update for today, I promise. As you can well guess, the Storefront part of the website is not yet open for business. The Storefront will be the last part of the Emotiomental Graffiti website to open (I intend to have the main section, blog, and portfolio all up and ready [...] […]EMG

Web Hosting
There are a lot of webhosts out there and I've given a few of them a run for their services (while they've given me a run for my money) and after all this time... Dreamhost wins my vote. The price is right, the package has everything I need, the CPanel has everything right at my fingertips, there's Fantastico's One-Click Installs (you can still do everything manually if you want), but most importantly, their customer support for me has been nothing short of OUTSTANDING. Add to the fact that Dreamhost is also now green? That's pretty damned awesome. Go visit them yourself or read my full review for more information.
Web Applications
WordPress has come a long way, baby, and boy how it's grown! From the ability to create fully-customized static pages to the ability to customize the hell out of your post display Loop to the ability to change themes like a chameleon to all the plugins that are available for your WordPress-enhancing pleasure, WordPress has a lot going for it and to top it all off, it's open source and free to use! Perfect for bloggers, online journalists, writers, artists, and people in general like you who have something to say and who want to say it THEIR way, WordPress is the platform where ideas, thoughts, and experiences are presented in the way they were meant to be - in YOUR voice and with YOUR style.

There are just some sites, apps, services, products, and people who (in my opinion) deserve their own little block here away from all the other links (or maybe in spite of all the other links).
